Fun fact

The water pantomime of the circus in 1901 required 250 cubic meters of water per week, 3000 cubic meters in total. A special water pipeline was authorized for this purpose, which could be used during the night. However, the circus director, in order to save money on the water bill, did not take the water from here but from the Zoo’s unmetered water supply, and he was fined for the maximum amount of 200 crowns.
